Site Overview
Survey Savvy is owned by Luth Research and has over 3 million members participating in their paid online surveys spanning over 190 countries. They claim to have paid out more money to their members than any other free paid survey site. Survey Savvy is highly promoted by its members due to its great referral program. Members receive $2.00 every time one of their referrals takes a surveys and $1.00 for every survey their referrals take, making it one of the best RECURRING referral programs available for a paid survey site. Beyond their referral program, Survey Savvy is a very solid survey site. Members are setup with a user account once they signup. You will be able to login to your account and fill out profile enhancers, check your balance, refer your friends, check your referral count and cash out. Survey Savvy pays strictly in cash, but you�ll need to remember to login and request payment in order to receive a check. There is no minimum amount that you need to have in order to request payment. You can expect to receive several paid online survey invitations per month, but will only qualify for a portion of them. They do tend to pay quite well for each completed survey, averaging around the $8-$10 range. Up until June 2005 they were sending out a lot of technical/IT surveys, but they did a site overhaul and seem to be sending out more general topic surveys. Once you join be sure to login to your account, familiarize yourself with the site and fill out any available profile enhancers.

Survey Savvy is what I would consider a very solid free paid survey site. The surveys are generally well run and thought provoking. Paid survey invitations are generally sent several times per month, but between Jan 05 and June 05, many of the invitations were technology or IT based and I qualified for very few. Fortunately, Survey Savvy did a site makeover in June 05 and since then the paid survey opportunities have seemed to have returned to more general topics. I like the fact that they pay strictly in cash and I like the idea of an online account. It lets me see my balance and cash out when I choose to do so. In general the compensation I receive for completing their free paid surveys is higher than many others and I have always received prompt payment once I have requested it. Their referral program is by far the best there is as far as online survey sites go, simply because it's recurring rather than a one-time shot. However I have seen ramblings on other sites on how you can make TONS of money simply by referring people to Survey Savvy. Whereas it may seem that if you were to have say 100 referrals that you may receive a good chunk of change per year, the reality is that you should only expect $0.50 to $1.00 at most, per referral per year. Overall the high payment amount per time spent and the prompt payment along with the referral program put Survey Savvy toward the top of my list. The only complaint that I would have is that I would like to qualify for more of the paid online survey opportunities that I get sent.
