$10 Readers Survey in Feb.'s All You Mag - February 8, 2005
There is a survey that you fill in and mail for $10 in the February issue of "All You" magazine. Could be a regional thing, so I would check before you buy the magazine if you're only buying it for the survey. (And also to make sure someone didn't just pull the survey out!)

- February 11, 2005
I signed up with them almost a year ago they have not sent me anything. Oh well :(

survey. 15 UKP (US$20) plus online expenses - February 8, 2005
http://www.mhamr.co.uk/earn.html

This project is probably over by now - March 4, 2005
These kinds of projects do not usually require an invite. If you read the original post, the site wants you to send them certain information. You would imply send them an email with the information they are requesting and wait to hear back from them. I'm sure that this survey is over by now, or they at least have their participants lined up. The window for these kinds of projects is usually a week or less. By the way, just sent you an email, thought you were looking for a Viewpoint referral - sorry. Did you happen to get a Viewpoint referral yet. If not, let me know and I'll see if I can hunt one up for you. Good Luck

$376 pay out. from an survey account i forget. - February 8, 2005
I was lazy for half of year on doing survey. And few days ago I checked on one of my account after reading the post from other members. It had a few hundreds dollars!!!. But the funny part was that I didn't do any of their surveys for a while. all the money was added from each survey my referal did. The pay out was $2 for survey of my referal and $1 for each survey my referal's referal did. http://www.surveysavvy.com/index.cfm?fa=referrals.calculator&id=1247638

Don't waste the money getting certified. A real mystery shop does not rely on those ratings. Everyone starts out at a open listing. but as you spend more time and file a detail report for that company, they will reserve the slot for you months ahead. As for OP, you can say that you're lucky as no one in your area does the the shop since it's very unlikely for a newbie to get into some many assigments in a short period of time. Anyway. mystery shop is great although the pay is low, but you will get free meal, service or freebies that you can auction on ebay later on. And if you plan thing right you can have a free lunch, free gas, a shopping spreed and a pizza deliver to you for dinner at a same day. Excluding all these easy freebies you will get a low pay of $5-10 per case. However, if you are not able to file a detail report with effort. 30-60 min per case online, you may not able to get pay.

Mystery Shopping - February 26, 2005
I haven't had much luck with this so far, however I live in a rural area and usually some distance is involved. My take on this process is that the fee offered [i:6e8634b5c4]Must[/i:6e8634b5c4]at least cover the cost involved. Therefore I go to Street Atlas and determine the distance involved and figure $0.25/mile or so. I then also determine the travel time and what that time is worth when added to the time that the shop is expected to take. I then compare it to the fee which usually doesn't measure up and advise the source accordingly. The last one I received yesterday resulted in a milage cost of $14.00 and the offered a fee of $15.00.

Mystery shopping. - February 23, 2005
These guys provide a free list of paid survey and mystery shopping companies a few at a time in their newsletter: http://completelistofpaidsurveysites.com One thing I like to do is the movie checking, particularly the "blind checks" where you evaluate their service anonymously. I don't much care for other types of movie checks such as "patron counts"... that's a pain. Later, SorryNewbie.

Is everyone interested in mystery shopping - February 5, 2005
If everyone is interested in mystery shopping, I will add a section to the site. Please provide me with your HONEST feedback. If there is enough interest, I will definately add a Mystery Shopping section.

Mystery Shopping - February 4, 2005
Has anyone tried mystery shopping? I just started signing up (free) 2 days ago, and I already have 10 jobs lined up in the next 2 weeks! Tomorrow I will go to a bank(which I was going to do anyway!) and eat 2 meals, and make $50 for 3 hours work, plus the meals will be paid for. In a month of surveys amd paid email I haven't made that much. But DO NOT pay one of those mystery shopping sites. You can find all the companies you want for free at the Mystery Shopper Providers Assoc. www.mysteryshop.org/join (This is not a referral link - I'm just passing on the info) You can also get certified there(optional) for a very low fee. Good Luck

ShutterStock - January 30, 2005
Hello all, I just joined a photo website where you post pictures that you have taken and then get paid for referrals, for each download and for each purcahse of your photo. It seems like it would be a really interesting thing to try. I've been reading the message boards and the members really seem to enjoy it. It might be an easy way to make a little extra cash and not have to do much. If you would like to join you can join with this link: http://submit.shutterstock.com/?ref=3454 I've submitted a few photos all ready and I'm just waiting for them to be posted. As soon as they have been posted I will send a link for all to look at. Enjoy, Snick :D

A little over a year - February 1, 2005
I've been at it a little over a year, and I'd say around $150-200 per month. Of course, there's good months and bad, but that's what I've averaged over the past year, which does not include referrals, just survey cash.

length/money - January 28, 2005
How long have you guys been doing thid and how much would you say you average a month?

Chris is right. - January 28, 2005
Now I must say Chris is right most of us just maybe bad luck or not fit the survey profile which suxs. I just joined a group in Canada over the weekend I gotta fill out 280 sites that does Cash or Cash & Prizes. Filling out 300+ up to 700+ does take time like for-ever then makes you think will it be worth it? All U can do is try if get no surveys all is lost is time. You don't know until you try. I see this site has 300+ US me sign up on then the International 125,Canada 150 has allot of INT,Down & Under 150 has INT. Euro 125 has INT. Ok thats allot something bound to give if you do them all. Ok that is total 850... You don't know until you try...If you think Negative then expect Negative. i'm going for the 850 or sign up many as I can to say...

- February 1, 2005
1 I would consider full time as I do lot of mystery shop, focus group and surveys each week. 2. I choose not to reveal my income as most people would consider unrealistic. However I can tell you that surveys is not a steady income. If you want to get pay more, you need to consider joining mystery shop and focus group. Just this week along, companies offered/ reserve over 20 locations for me to shop which including gas station, fast food, sport goods, music store and pizza. ( It's better for me to not mention the shops names ). And the focus groups for this week are rum tasting and wirless connection. (yes I get pay to drink) In any case mystery shop is a steady income since you recieve a small fee and free items which you can sell in ebay. And best of all, if you have a good history in that company, it will plan and reserve every possible assignments for you months ahead. 3. As I stated in another post, do not join the site blindly. It will be a waste of time if you join a company who is specialize in IT while you enter a bus driver in your profile. As for the numbers of companies go, joining every company out there without fully-filled detailed profile will lead you nowhere. As some people experenced, they get the survey few days or week later than others. What people don't realized is that the companies reserved/send out the surveys to people who are closely match with profile first. If not enough people apply within the time limit, the company will then send the survey out to the general public and sometime hire another survey company to finsih the job. In other words, by the time it reachs you, you have to race with thousands of lazy survey hunters in order to fill in a few slots that was left over. BTW most of the left-over surveys are open to anyone and not send to unique user. And 25%of the time, it came from the company which was hired from the original survey site to finish the jobs in which would result in delay of payment and sometime lesser pay.

I'll try to field these. - February 1, 2005
First, I'm not sure if you are aware but this forum is for which will offer you the same information as Survey Scout, or the others that charge, for FREE. And I do, try at least, to keep my lists updated and without duplication. The people who advertise those sites get a portion of the payment that you would pay, so they will tell you that they are the top 6. My advice, NEVER pay for survey info because you can get it all for free. Now for your questions: 1. By full-time, do you mean 8 hrs a day, every day. If so, then no one does, you'll not receive that many surveys. If you mean do I answer as many surveys possible, then I for the most part have, however I do run short of time and miss some openings because I am maintaining this site. 2. I would say on average $150-200 per month, not including referrals, and if I had a bit more time I could probably add a little more to that, but not much. 3. Shouldn't be long at all to get at least a few. After a month or so you should be getting them everyday. I recive at least 1-2 per day, and usually more. True/False section. 1. True 2. 2-3K per year, possible. 2-3K per month impossible. 3. 3K per year, maybe possible without referrals, possible with referrals. 4. No trick really. Make sure you fill out profiles for those sites that have them, and then just be honest. You never know what they are looking for. Hope this helps.

Question anybody - January 28, 2005
I have never yet done a survey I just joined a company up in canada. Only site seem legit as I been told others as SurveyScout that are rip off's half there data not even updated. This is what I been told lots of people who joined these so called top 6 surveys that you pay & makes them look good by, Survey Reviews Some questions are this #1. Does anybody do this FULL TIME? :?: #2.What your average montly income? :?: #3.Let say you signed up 300+ surveys how long did it take you to finally get a surveys? :?: What I been told by others who done this for awhile said if you sign up nor how many you sign up it usual takes 2 weeks or just depends if you fit the survey to finally get one. True or False? :?: I had allot say there average income is 2k to 3k True or False? :?: Anybody get beyond 3K? :?: Now I wonder whats the trick to make sure you get on the survey any suggestions? :?: Thanks :)

New to this group. - January 28, 2005
HI! I am new to this group. My name is Lucky D. Underwood I am from Huntsville,AL

Hard to say - February 1, 2005
Probably a couple of months. See a lot of companies only send a few invites per year, so in theory, you if you join 300 sites you should get one at least every day or more. Of course, they'll not all be nice and evenly spaced, you may get a bunch one month and relatively few the next. But, I would say after a couple of months you'll have plenty to do. Make sure to get into the surveys as soon as you can for the best results because many of them are limited in the number of participants needed, or the number of participants for a paticular demographic, so the earlier you get in, the beter your chances.

oops sorry - January 27, 2005
oops sorry didn't realize I had already posted. In that case how long before even 100 a month?

- January 27, 2005
All your questions about "Money for surveys" have been answered at the following: /forum/viewtopic.php?t=39 Just read the first 3 post, particularly the 2nd post.

how long? - January 27, 2005
I have been registered with all that mrc's I qualify for on survey platinum for a month or two niw, and while I get a lot for cash drawings, and a few for minimal cash. I was wondering how long it takes before I can be making 300-400 a month. I know you can't be positive because of my demographics but I would like to hear your experiences and how much time/money you usually make a month. And also how long you have been doing thbis :) thanks!

Get 4 more viewpoint plus two other REAL Survey sites that pay $100-300 a year min before ref. (not really into veiwpoint since cashing out is a little slower). Anyhow send me a private message with your name and e-mail. I will put you on the train. btw to most of the newbies, every survey company, focus group, mystery shop and pannel are looking for selected group of people depending on its clients. Joining every site blindly or entering every non pay survey does not increase your chance of getting pay. However knowing what each company is looking for and spend sometime to put into your profile will give you the advantage over others. A fully filled profile worth thousand bucks. Just my .02

Did you get a referral? - February 1, 2005

how long? - January 19, 2005
I have been doing every aingle survey that is offered, even ones for drawings. I started about 2 months ago, registered for all the mrc's on survey platinum and was wondering how long it takes to make about $1000 per month. I am on the computer all day and I do anything that comes. I know it;s hard to judge because of demographic but if you have any guestimation I would be really appreciate it. thanks, shana

You won't - January 20, 2005
From my experience, you can't make $1,000 per month just by taking surveys. If you are at it all the time, as you say, you can expect maybe $100 to $200 per month, but that will vary (you may have a $20 month and then a $200 month). You can refer people, even create your ownwebsite to do so, but even then you would have a hard time reaching $1,000 per month, that's a pretty lofty goal. Unfortunately, sites like Survey Platinum, even though they charge for their database, aren't exacly truthfull with their members. Through my own experience and with talking to others who have done this for a while, would estimate around $1,000-$2,000 per year. Of course, this will vary based on demographics and such. You can check out the Information and Tips page of Free Paid Surveys.net for some more info, if you'd like. Hope this helps,

Welcome - February 1, 2005
Make sure you check out the Medical Surveys section. Being that you were a nurses aid, maybe you'll qualify. I beleive (although I can't say for sure since I don't qualify for them) that you should get better incentives. Good Luck to you.

Greetings everyone. - January 17, 2005
Hello all. . . A few words about myself. I'm working as a nurses aided this last year trying to finish a B.A. in English. I'm recently divorced after years of a pretty rough marriage and found myself unemployed with no job skills or employment history. It's been rough but I'm making it. I'm hoping things will be easier with a college degree. I'll be graduating in May and have been online a lot lately trying to get information about employment/careers I might be qualified for. That's how I stumbled onto this paid survey stuff. I haven't even tried it yet. I joined this forum to try and find out more about it first. I'm rather skeptical about jumping right into things, having been burned before. I appreciate this site being here and all you folks have posted. I'm going to give it a try because any extra money helps and I work pretty hard per hour anyway at my job now. I guess I don't have anything to lose but a little time. Thanks again to all of you, especially Chris for creating and mantaining the site. Carolyn :) :)

Unfinished surveys - January 13, 2005
I'm new to this survey business and I've received a few surveys that just stopped after some questions, sometimes as many as 10 and then told me that I was unqualified. They are not from any one particular source. One quit after one question about age. I'm an older guy. What I'm trying to find out is whether or not this is unique to me or whether others are having the same problem.

That happens - January 16, 2005
No, this is normal. One of the best things is to have Robo-form, so you can fill in these initial questions by just clicking a button. Most of the time, you'll only spend a minute or less answering these to see if you qualify. The exceptions that I've experienced are from Greefield, which I've answered quite a few questions before they tell me I don't qualify and the OTX surveys, which there a several companies that use them (they're the black ones), which sometimes seem to ask me the same questions over and over, just phrased a bit differently.

Thanks - December 1, 2005
Thanks I realized the post right after I posted my message.

- June 5, 2005
The thing about Viewpoint Forum is that they only allow you to send out 5 referrals. Even if the person you send the referral to doesnt complete the sign up you cant send more than 5. I sent out 5 to people who actually requested them and only 3 signed up. My sister sent out her 5 ands only 2 signed up. Neither of us are able to send out any more! (This was several months ago and not through this forum) So please everyone if you ask for an invitation do complete the sign up as it is unfair not to since members are so limited Someone please send one to my good friend Doug. He will complete the sign up. Also it might be a good idea to post a message here when you do so that others dont repeat the invitation. By the way VF gives 100 points for these referrals which is a little more than $2.50 [email protected] David

Greetings to all, I am a noobie here. Have been looking for a forum that is centered around paid survey information. I have been on the paid survey scene for approx. a year and a half. Have made some xtra cash and have even won $100 in a sweepstakes :D Just wanted to introduce myself and to say I will be happy to help out in any way I am able to. I do have a few referrals left for viewpoint, but I am not sure how to go about sharing in a fair way. Seems as though there are quite a few members looking for a referral. Please post back with a suggestion. Regards, Pink Panther76

Viewpoint - May 27, 2005
Hello, I am new to the forum and I am an avid survey taker when possible. I am interested in viewpoint, and would appreciate if someone were kind enough to explain to me exactly "what" viewpoint is, and how it works. It seems very popular. Also based on this description, a referral would be appreciated at [email protected].

I have four VIEWPOINT referrals to give out. :P [i:6669a02bd4]PLEASE[/i:6669a02bd4] do not ask for one if you do not plan on signing up....as I depend on surveys to supplement my limited income. If you want one....please message me to my inbox here on this forum..include your full name and e-mail address so I can refer you properly.. [ I figure using the private message board section [b:6669a02bd4]HERE[/b:6669a02bd4] on this board will keep everyone's e-mail info private.]

PayPal--Personal or Premium? - January 10, 2005
Hi All! I'm new to surveys, so please be patient with me! I don't have a Paypal account, and I think I'm confusing myself with all of the options--so I'm asking for your help!! I don't sell anything over the Internet---I just need to receive payments thru Paypal for the survey websites that require you to have Paypal. So--do I setup a Personal or Premier account? What scares me about Personal is attaching my bank account with it. Does Paypal have the ability to withdraw funds from my personal bank account if something should happen? I know that the Personal account is completely free--no charges for sending or receiving non-credit card payments. If I setup a Premier account---do they charge a % to receive cash pymts? I know I'm probably over-analyzing this, but I don't know what to do! Thanks for your help!!

Just a free account is fine - January 11, 2005
You don't actually need to give them your bank account number. Only if you want to transfer funds into your bank account. I use my paypal account mostly to buy stuff online. Most survey sites do not use Paypal as a form of payment, so it's not like your going to be missing out on huge cash payments every month. You can always save your paypal balance up and use it to buy something online, say at Christmas time or something. Of course, you could just give them your bank account. I have never had a problem with PayPal in that regards. It's actually a pretty nice way of sending and recieving cash.

Introducing my self - January 1, 2005
Hello every one I'm in to paid to read email world and visiting the paid survey world. my experice was I would get a "free imac" computer if I did a survery and ended up paying $40 for something I didn't need. but got couple thing "free" so that kind of justify thing. so I'm going to poke around here and see where I can really get PAID in cash surveys FREE. $-) thanks Nk

Couple of pointers. - January 1, 2005
If someone is going to give you something that sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Most surveys will range anywhere from $1-$25, unless you win a drawing or something. But, you will sometimes get a survey project, more like a focus group that usually require you to do something over several days that will pay you quite a bit more. The most I ever got from one of these was $200, but that's rare. Unfortunately, there are a lot of sites out there that say "take a short survey and get "X" or get a chance at a Corvette or something ridiculous" when actually they are just after your email address and whatever other info they can get. So be sure to read through privacy polocies and term and conditions. Same in the paid email world, I've seen ptr site that make it seem as if you can get $1,000 payout but if you readthe small print you have to have "x" amount of referrals or else you only get 1/10th of 1% of that or something silly. I've tried not to included any such sites on Free Paid Surveys, and have removed sites for just that. Also, I noticed you posted another message regarding how much you can make with paid surveys vs. paid email. I would think, that if one were really dedicated they could probably make more with paid email, but you need to spend a lot of time reading paid email (if you haven't checked out my paid email system, you might want to, it's got some good info as to how to cut down on that time), where surveys take relatively little time in comparison. I made right around $2,000 last year (2004) taking surveys, but I did get a few good projects, one paying $200. You mentioned you had a lot of time available to spend on your computer. You might want to look into creating your own website. Both surveys and paid email can make you some money with referrals, and whereas setting up a website can take a bit of time initially, once you're setup you cna just maintain and advertise it. I've got some tools on the site for setting up your own website as well, if you don't know how. Anyways, welcome to the forum. I look forward to more posts. Good Luck

is it for real? - December 9, 2004
Has anyone signed up ,and paid the fee for any of these online survey sites. Some of them look really good .It almost has to be a scam ,does'nt it.If it were for real everyone and his brother would be doing it.At $300.00 per survey,I could quit my job.Im new to this ,and still dont know if its worth spending my time on .I guess Ill find out.See ya

DON"T DO IT!!!!! - December 10, 2004
Never pay for a list of surveys. You will not find a better resource than where you are at right now. I don't know if you've seen the Survey Directory, but you can find it here /files/surveydirectory.html, for FREE, 100% FREE, no dinero... If you pay, you'll just get basically the same thing, probably not even as good, really. Of course if it makes you feel better paying money for a list, you could always send me some cash and I'll send you the same link above [b:91e5ef4518]LOL[/b:91e5ef4518]. And yes, paid surveys are real and you can make money at them. Unfortunately, these places twist the truth as far as the amount you can make. For example, they'll say "make $50 an hour", which is often true, but in the sense that you may make $5 taking a 5 minute survey. You are certainly not going to make that much on every survey and you will never receive enough surveys to fill an 8 hour day by any means. If this were true I would be talking to you from Jamaica with a nice umbrella drink in my hand.

Hello All - November 21, 2004
I am a Computer Technician turned musician who is about to go back to being a Computer Technician. Why? you ask, well a career in music is not as easy as one might think it would be. I'm in sunny California as I have been for most of my life. I'm in college trying to finnish what I started years ago. I am taking a class in sociology which deals with the study of groups of people. I thought it would give me some ideas for writing songs. Oh by the way I recently received my first royalty payment for a song I wrote and that was a big boost to my ego! I joined this forum to gather and share information about Marketing Research and the companies that conduct it. I am also using this forum to help me in the above mentioned class since Sociology is used heavily in Marketing Research. So much so that I have made my own survey about people who take surveys(Thanks chris for hosting the survey) and I would like as many of you good people as would to take part in it. It is a short but I think you will find interesting survey at: /BBSurveySurvey.html Thanks Benny B. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The survey is complete and the results are in. Thanks to all who helped.
