Here's a new site Dataelligence. They're just starting up. They're looking for new respondants, so they're having a drawing for a Dell laptop for new signups. Looks like they'll be a points program similar to Lightspeed of NFO. Again, here's the link: Dataelligence
Enjoy! _________________ Chris Ohlson

Thanks for that link. I signed up for them and am wondering what the best sites are and which ones I should avoid. Also looking for paid focus groups on line. |

I usually post new survey sites here as soon as I find them and check them out. I usually post new sites to the "New Additions" section of them website in batches, so there's usually some lag time.
As far as the best sites, you can check out the Best Paid Surveys section of the website. This is a collection of my favorites. However, there are lots of other good one's too.
As far as one's to avoid, pretty much all of the sites on Free Paid Surveys are good. I don't add them unless I would join them myself. The best way to tell if a site is not good, is to read their privacy policy. If their privacy policy states something like "we will sometimes send you exciting offers from our partners" then stay away. The exceptions being Memolink and My Points, which give you points for reading email from their partners, and don't overwhelm you with them.
One not so good site, that comes to mind is "Survey Networks". If you've ever taken any of their surveys, the majority of the questions go something like this: "Would ou like to receive free information on wonderful new hair removal products" or "Would you like to learn how to save thousands on refinancing your home". Questions like these are another good sign to stay away. Also, their prizes are always something like a new BMW or a Yacht, or just something rediculously big. Another indicator that I use, which is not always the case but prompts me to look into things a bit further, are survey invitations in HTML. Big flashy pictures that say "Win this" or something similar. I would say 99% of all good sites send plain text email invitations.
Oh, and don't EVER pay money for a list of survey sites. There's plenty of them out there that make BIG promises, like that you can make thousands per month by taking surveys. Truth is, you'll find the same info on this site for free, and I do my best to not lead you in the wrong direction.
Also, if you ever find a site that you are not sure of, you can always post it to the forum and get some input (which I prefer because it makes a good resource for others) or you email it to me directly.
Hope this helps, _________________ Chris Ohlson
